General Instructions:

• Contract Duration: The contract will be for one year, starting from 1st April to 31st March. The employment will be subject to a review of your conduct and performance during the year.

• Benefits and Allowances: Benefits and Allowances: Contractual employees will not receive any allowances, financial benefits, or concessions typically granted to government employees.

• Working Hours:
  • For staff (less Ser 1 to 2): 48 hours per week (8×6), Monday through Saturday. Sundays are holidays.
  • For specialists (Medical Specialist & Gynecologist): 30 hours per week (5×6), Monday through Saturday. Sundays are holidays.

• Leave: You will be eligible for 2.5 days of leave for every completed month during the contractual period. Unused leave will expire after six months. Entitled leave is in addition to Sundays and Gazetted Holidays.

• Termination of Services: Either side can end the contract by giving one month’s notice.

Additional Information:

• Candidates who have previously been employed in ECHS but whose services were terminated/not extended for the second year of employment are not eligible to apply.
