Medical Officer ‘E’ (Medical Oncology, Adult Haemato Lymphoid)
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (D.M.) or Doctor of National Board (D.N.B.) in Medical Oncology or Haematology, or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- OR
- M.D. or D.N.B. in Medicine or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the NMC, plus three years of experience in Medical Oncology or Clinical Haematology at a teaching hospital.
Experience:
- Candidates with less than three years of experience after completing their postgraduate degree may be considered for a lower grade position, if there are no suitable candidates with more experience.
Medical Officer ‘E’ (Medical Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant)
Education:
- D.M. or D.N.B. in Medical Oncology or Haematology, or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the NMC, plus at least one year of experience in allogeneic and autologous transplantation.
Medical Officer ‘E’ (Palliative Medicine)
Education:
- M.D. or D.N.B. in Palliative Medicine, or M.D. or D.N.B. in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Anesthesia, or Radiation Oncology, or an equivalent postgraduate degree recognized by the NMC, plus at least 3 years of experience in palliative care at a large hospital or cancer center.
Experience:
- Candidates with less than three years of experience after completing their postgraduate degree may be considered for a lower grade position, if there are no suitable candidates with more experience.
Additional Requirement:
- A Post Graduate Diploma or Certified Training in Palliative Medicine of at least one year duration is desirable.
